"I learned how to live sober and found a family that I will never forget. This place saved my life walked the stage 07'. I came here through Lacy New Start jail program. 91 days in J mode sec 10 cell 1.(I flooded my cell) went on to the house here for 3 months began the New Start sober living 2 monthes in when I was asked to manage the lighthouse sober lvg owned by a 20yr grad.

Addiction has been the most formidable struggle that has plagued my life. I have sought help from more than 7 treatment centers over the last 3 decades and most of them have been super expensive. The Phoenix house, by far has been the best experience I could have ever hoped for. This is important, if your SERIOUS about getting help call this place. They run on a therapeutic Community model. The staff is fantastic and they'll do everything in their power to help you but you have to want to get help. Don't expect Betty Ford or Hazelden (former client) in terms of facility but they are serious about recovery. They staff is awesome they provide and facilitate a fun atmosphere and engaging culture. That first step is the hardest but it just gets better from there!!

i was looking up this place cuz i have a very good friend who is placed there, anyways i was wondering when im going about contacting them idk there room number ect...and looking it up on the maps it shows 2 different phoenix house can anyone help pls and do u guys know if they are entitled to a visitation?

SO FAR O AM STILL CLEAN N SOBER. HOWEVER THIS PLACE IS NOT GEARED FOR WOMEN. IF YOUR A DUDE AND WANT TO GET CLEAN THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. ITS DOUBLE STANDARDS OF WHAT THEY OFFER MEN TO WOMEN IS OFF THA HOOK.. IF A PROGRAM IS BOTH FOR MEN N WOMEN. THE SAME BENEFITS SHOULD BE OFFERED TO BOTH EQUALLY

Liz Cervantes- I am so sorry for the pain and suffering you had to endure when you were transferred to Santa Ana I was a staff member in Descanso during that time. I want to apologize to you for that terrible experience that you had to deal with . it sounds like, you have turned you're life around! This place saves lives and Cherie is the most dedicated, amazing counselor. She is a blessing to anybody she is assigned to.
